As is the practice in naval special warfare teams, team members have a great deal of latitude on their equipment choices.  Nevertheless, the following minimum standards apply.

Basic Uniform
Unless otherwise prescribed, team members are required to wear US Marine pattern digital (MARPAT - also known as digital woodland) with black boots.  There will be game days when other attire could be prescribed depending on the planned scenarios for the matches (ex. Urban, civilian, VIP protection).

Eye protection rated for ballistic integrity in the form of safety glasses or goggles is mandatory.

The color of load carrying vests/equipment is left to personal discretion, but black is strongly discouraged as it greatly reduces the effectiveness of the MARPAT camouflage by creating a strong silhouette.

As per naval tradition, team members should wear a cover (headgear) at all times.  When not engaged in matches, team members wear the team beret (black) with team badge.  During matches, headgear choices of team members are left to personal discretion.  Typically, helmets or boonie hats are worn during matches.

All team members are also strongly encouraged to have a helmet (black MICH or PASGT type with MARPAT helmet cover), as well as gloves to cushion the hands from impact as well as protect against the very rough terrain and vegetation.

Urban Uniform
As the team expands into a wider range of scenarios, members will also be required to have a set of urban digital BDUs, with black boots.  The urban uniform is worn with a helmet (same black helmet as basic uniform - without the helmet cover) and tactical goggles.

As with the basic uniform, the color of load carrying vests/equipment is left to personal discretion, but for the urban uniform, the use of black is not discouraged.

Weapons
The choice of weapons is a personal matter and is left to individual discretion.  It is suggested, however, that team members chose weapons which are generally available in order to facilitate sharing of magazines, batteries, and other accessories.

Members are therefore encouraged to select as their primary weapon a Tokyo-Marui compatible member of the M-16/M4 family, or a Tokyo-Marui compatible member of the AK series.  The use of high capacity magazines is discouraged except for those who are the designated machine gunners in their fire team.

Maximum power for rifles is 450 fps although the recommended power is a maximum of 400 fps.

Team members may also wish to consider a secondary weapon for use in CQB scenarios with an fps rating not to exceed 280 to 300.  Tokyo Marui-compatible MP5s are suggested for this purpose.

Team members may also opt to carry pistols as backup weapons.  Strongly recommended are glass blow back pistols which correspond to pistols which would be carried by naval special warfare teams of various countries.  Suggested choices would be Colt M1911, Beretta Model 92, SIG P226.

Team members are encouraged to carry at least 5 low capacity magazines (70 rounds) for their primary weapon, and machine gunners a minimum of 4 high capacity magazines.  If they opt to carry pistols, team members are encouraged to carry at least 2 pistol magazines.
